Today's scribbler is Ana Bagayan. She's an artist from Armenia, although she seems to live somewhere much deeper out into space! Her drawings play with the idea that we're just a TEENY SPECK in an infinite universe. She knits together our familiar human world with stories of the unknown and alien abductions, then creates these bug-eyed hybrid creatures. Her alien-girls (below) are my favourite! Stare into their inky eyes and our mysterious universe feels strangely more familiar and more unknown, all at once!
